Connectivity
Have peace of mind when you’re away from home with the help of MyQ® Technology. When integrated with Internet Gateway, you’ll be able to monitor and control your garage door opener and home lighting from anywhere. Receive email or text alerts to let you know the status of your garage door and home lighting. No annual activation fee is required and you can download the DoMyQ® mobile app for free. This system is also compatible with HomeLink®.

Performance
If you need heavy-duty lifting and reliable service, look no further. P3 Motors™, specifically built for use in garage door openers, provides industrial-strength lifting power when combined with a DC motor chain drive system. With the optional battery backup (requires the use of optional battery 485LM), you’ll be able to get in and out of your garage even during a power outage. This garage door opener is also energy-efficient, consuming up to 75% less power when in standby mode.

Security
Looking for extra security measures? Protect your home with Security+ 2.0™. With each click, you’ll get a new code to the garage door opener, ensuring that the door will only open for you. With PosiLock® you’ll be able to electronically monitor against any forced opening and remotely lock down your garage door. If you have small children, you’ll appreciate the audio and visual warnings that are activated when the door is about to close. Built-in motion detectors activate the garage door opener’s lights when you enter your garage and the Protector System emits a beam of light that prevents it from closing on anything in its path.
